[fleXive] 3.0 RC1 Java EE Framework Published Under LGPL
[fleXive] community, has announced the release of [fleXive] 3.0 RC1. It is an EJB3-based Java EE 5 Framework, with a JSF component library. It is open source and licensed under the LGPL. The framework sets the focus on data modeling and manipulation in the Enterprise (Web) environment. The run-time environment of [fleXive] can be used in existing Java EE applications or other integrated frameworks. It is also possible to separate applications on the basis of [fleXive].
The Key features of this release include dynamic object data modeling and manipulation XML-like data structures, internationalization (data and user interface), versioning/History and Security based on access control lists (ACL) and roles. It also provides the framework workflows; event triggered scripting, management of data in a virtual tree-file system, SQL-like query engine etc.
The aim of the new release candidate is to find the most stable release of version 3.0 to be able to guarantee the remaining error. The license of the framework was adopted by the restrictive GPL on the Lesser GNU General Public License (LGPL) version 2.1. The Framework on the building, optional back-end application is still under the GNU General Public License (GPL) licensed.
